Oregon launches massive campaign to teach 75,000 people how to spot deadly skin cancer

NCT ID NCT04611568

Summary

This study is testing whether a large-scale educational campaign helps people in Oregon detect melanoma, a serious skin cancer, at an earlier stage. The program provides information to the public, healthcare providers, and students on how to recognize early signs. Researchers will compare melanoma detection rates and knowledge in Oregon to nearby states that did not run the campaign to see if the education makes a difference.
