Oregon launches massive skin cancer education blitz: will it save lives?
NCT ID NCT04611568
Summary
This study is testing whether a large-scale educational campaign across Oregon helps people learn the early signs of melanoma, a serious skin cancer. The program provides information to the public, high school students, and healthcare providers. Researchers will compare melanoma detection rates and knowledge in Oregon to nearby states that don't run the campaign to see if the education makes a difference.
