Summary
This study is testing whether taking two pills, binimetinib and imatinib, can help control advanced melanoma that has a specific genetic change called a KIT mutation. The trial is for up to 25 adults whose cancer has spread or cannot be removed by surgery and who have already tried standard treatments. The main goal is to see if the drug combination shrinks tumors and is safe for patients.
