Brain-Zap boost? radiation added to drug cocktail tested for tough melanoma

NCT ID NCT04074096

Summary

This study is for people with a specific type of advanced skin cancer (melanoma) that has spread to the brain. It tests whether adding a precise, high-dose radiation treatment (stereotactic radiosurgery) to a combination of three drugs works better than the drugs alone. The goal is to better control the cancer in the brain and improve how long patients live without their brain tumors getting worse.
