Calm in the storm: meditation trial aims to ease brain cancer treatment fears

NCT ID NCT06165653

Summary

This study is testing whether a brief, 5-minute guided meditation played during radiation therapy sessions can help reduce anxiety for people with brain tumors. Researchers will compare the meditation group to patients receiving standard care (no meditation) to see if it makes a difference in how nervous patients feel during treatment. The goal is to find a simple, non-drug way to improve the experience of undergoing radiation.
