NCT ID NCT05615389
First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This small pilot study will test whether medicinal cannabis can help ease symptoms like pain, muscle spasms, and gut problems in children receiving palliative care for non-cancer conditions. Ten children aged 6 months to 21 years will be randomly given one of two cannabis products, and neither they nor the researchers will know which one. The main goal is to see if families find the study acceptable and if a larger trial is possible.
