Summary

This study tested a program to help reduce unnecessary or risky medications for people with dementia. A pharmacist met with patients and their caregivers via video call to review all medications based on the patient's personal health goals. The goal was to see if this approach safely helped people stop taking medications that were no longer helpful or were causing harm.
