This study looked at whether medical cannabis can help people with chronic pain reduce or stop taking opioid painkillers. 29 adults who were already on opioids and wanted to wean off them were given access to medical marijuana and followed for six months. Researchers tracked pain levels, opioid use, and quality of life to see if cannabis could be a safer alternative.
