First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 32 times

Summary

This study looked at whether a mechanical stimulation technique could reduce pain and improve shoulder function better than standard massages in women who had a total mastectomy and lymph node removal for breast cancer. About 80 participants were planned, but the study was stopped early. The goal was to see if the technique helped with pain and daily activities six months after surgery.
