Summary

This study tests a drug called mecapegfilgrastim in 30 adults with lung or esophageal cancer who are getting chemotherapy and radiation. The goal is to see if it can safely prevent or reduce myelosuppression, a condition where the body makes fewer blood cells. Participants will be monitored for side effects and blood cell counts during treatment.
