First seen Apr 02, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study looks at whether eating the fast-acting carbs at the beginning or the end of a pre-exercise meal changes how the body uses fat and carbs during exercise and affects cycling performance. Nineteen healthy, trained male athletes will eat a standard meal in two different orders on separate days, then do a cycling test. The goal is to find out if meal order can help athletes perform better.
