New test aims to predict Cancer's return after transplant

NCT ID NCT06569095

Summary

This study is testing a new laboratory method to see if it can better predict which patients with a blood cancer called myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) might relapse after receiving a stem cell transplant. Researchers will track 163 patients after their transplant to see if the new test is more accurate than current methods at spotting signs of the disease returning. The goal is to gather knowledge that could help doctors monitor patients more effectively in the future.
