Summary

This Yale University study is testing whether a single dose of MDMA (commonly known as ecstasy) can help adults with Borderline Personality Disorder better understand social situations and recognize emotions in others. Researchers will measure changes in sociability and emotional recognition using computer tasks and questionnaires. The study involves 10 participants who will receive MDMA in a controlled medical setting and be monitored overnight.
