Could a simple diet change cut hospital stays after lung cancer surgery?

NCT ID NCT07159659

Summary

This study is testing if a special diet containing medium-chain triglycerides (MCTs) can help patients recover faster after lung surgery. Researchers will give the MCT diet to some patients after their operation to see if it reduces fluid buildup and shortens their hospital stay compared to a regular diet. The goal is to find a safe, simple way to improve recovery for people having surgery for lung cancer and other chest conditions.
