New Antibody-Drug conjugate targets Hard-to-Treat cancers
NCT ID NCT07145255
First seen Jun 24, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tests a new drug called MBRC-201 in people with advanced solid tumors (prostate, breast, colorectal, lung, or pancreatic cancer) that have not responded to standard treatments. The drug is an antibody-drug conjugate, designed to deliver a cancer-killing agent directly to tumor cells. The trial has three parts: first, finding the safest dose; second, expanding to more patients; and third, testing effectiveness. About 150 participants will be enrolled across multiple centers.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
MBRC-201 (an antibody-drug conjugate)
What this could lead to
If successful, this could point toward a new treatment option for advanced cancers that have not responded to standard therapies.
What could go wrong
This is an early-phase trial (Phase 1/2) with a small number of participants, so the drug may not prove effective or may have significant side effects. It is not a cure and requires ongoing disease management.
