New imaging showdown: can MBI replace MRI for High-Risk breast cancer screening?

NCT ID NCT05042687

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study compares two imaging methods—MBI and MRI—to see which is better at finding breast cancer in women at high risk. About 300 women will get both scans, and researchers will check how well each test spots tumors. The goal is to find a more comfortable or accessible option without missing cancers.
