Can a Mother's voice help shape a Preemie's brain?

NCT ID NCT05391633

Summary

This study tested whether playing a recorded mother's voice to premature babies in the NICU could change their brain activity, measured by an EEG. Researchers wanted to see if these brain changes could be used as an early sign of future developmental problems. The study was small and ended early, and it was designed to gather information, not to treat the babies.
