Could Mom's stress change her milk and impact her Preemie's brain?

NCT ID NCT05537454

Summary

This study aims to understand if a mother's stress after a premature birth is linked to changes in her breast milk and her baby's brain development and feeding success. Researchers will follow 120 mothers and their preterm babies, collecting milk and stool samples to look for connections. The goal is to gather knowledge that could one day help improve care for premature infants and their mothers.
