Summary
This study is testing a special therapy program for mothers who have PTSD and are involved with child welfare services. It aims to help mothers manage their trauma symptoms and improve their parenting skills, with the goal of reducing the risk of future child maltreatment. The study will compare this therapy to standard supportive counseling over 23 sessions.
