Summary
This study looked at a new type of heart stent (a small mesh tube) that slowly releases medicine to keep arteries open. The stent's coating dissolves over a few months, which may lower the risk of blood clots. Researchers followed 204 people with coronary artery disease for one year to see how safe and effective the stent was in everyday use.
