Intensive therapy tested to break link between trauma and addiction

NCT ID NCT06968832

Summary

This study is testing if a more intensive form of therapy for PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder) works better for people who are also in treatment for substance use problems. It compares a condensed schedule of therapy sessions to the usual care. The goal is to see if this approach improves PTSD symptoms, reduces substance use, and helps people stick with treatment.
