First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 04, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This study looked at whether massage or a warm shower during labor could improve birth satisfaction, comfort, and breastfeeding success for first-time mothers. 120 low-risk women were split into three groups: one received lower back massage, one took a warm shower, and one had standard care. Results suggest these simple, drug-free methods may help mothers feel better during and after childbirth.
