Summary
This study looked at whether massage therapy can improve mood and daily functioning in new mothers. 28 women within 6 months of giving birth were split into two groups: one received a 45-minute massage once a week for 4 weeks, the other did not. Researchers measured depression and functional status before and after the treatment period.
