Scientists scan brains to see how massage really works

Summary

This study looks at how a single session of Swedish massage or light touch changes brain activity, heart rate, blood pressure, breathing, and mood in healthy adults. Thirty participants will be randomly assigned to receive either massage or light touch. Brain scans (MRI) are done before and after the session to measure these effects.
