Summary
This study looked at whether massage therapy after open heart surgery can reduce pain, improve sleep quality, and lower stress hormone levels. 96 adults who had elective open heart surgery took part. Researchers measured pain, sleep quality, and cortisol levels to see if massage made a difference.
