Summary

This study looked at how different strengths of marijuana (high, moderate, or placebo) affect alcohol cravings and drinking behavior in 157 heavy drinkers who also use marijuana at least twice a week. Participants were exposed to alcohol-related cues and then given a choice to drink alcohol or receive money for not drinking. The goal was to understand if marijuana changes how much people want and consume alcohol.
