New hope for septic shock: could a different drug save more lives?

Summary

This study looks at two medicines that raise blood pressure in people with septic shock, a life-threatening condition. It compares a newer drug, Angiotensin II, to the standard treatment, norepinephrine. The goal is to see which works better and find ways to predict how severe the shock is. About 78 adults with septic shock will take part.
