First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 03, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study looked at 60 people with a broken lower jaw (parasymphysis fracture) to see if using one metal plate plus an arch bar works as well as the usual two plates. The researchers checked for infection, numbness, bone alignment, and surgery time. The goal is to find a simpler treatment that still heals well.
