New mammogram tech aims to replace MRI for checking chemo success

NCT ID NCT06220214

Summary

This study is testing if a special type of mammogram that uses a contrast dye can work as well as a breast MRI to see if chemotherapy successfully shrank a breast tumor before surgery. It involves about 30 people with locally advanced breast cancer who are getting chemotherapy before their operation. The goal is to find a more cost-effective way to accurately check treatment response.
