Summary

This study looks at how tiny communication points inside liver cells (called MAMs) might be linked to a serious liver condition called MASH. Researchers will study 20 adults having weight-loss surgery to see if these cell changes affect disease progression. The goal is to better understand the disease, not to test a new treatment.
