Summary

This study aims to test the safety of an experimental malaria vaccine (PfSPZ) in pregnant women. It involves 400 healthy pregnant participants in Mali who will receive either the vaccine or a placebo injection. Researchers will closely monitor the women and their babies for over a year to check for any side effects and see if the vaccine might help prevent malaria infections.
