Summary
This study tests whether giving malaria medicine to school-age children can lower malaria cases in the entire community. School children often carry the malaria parasite without feeling sick, spreading it to others. The trial will involve 4,800 children in The Gambia and measure how many people of all ages get malaria over two years.
