First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study tested whether mailing HPV self-test kits to women who rarely or never get screened for cervical cancer could increase participation. Over 2,400 underserved minority women in Texas received either a mailed kit or usual care. The goal was to see if at-home testing makes screening easier and more accessible.
