Zap your brain to sleep? new study tests magnetic therapy for insomnia
NCT ID NCT06631209
Summary
This study is testing whether a non-invasive magnetic brain stimulation technique can help people with insomnia sleep better. Researchers will recruit 144 adults with insomnia to receive either real or sham (fake) magnetic pulses to different parts of the brain over two to three weeks. The main goal is to see if this treatment leads to longer-term improvements in sleep quality and duration, measured over several months.
