Magnets to the head: new hope for chemo pain?

NCT ID NCT03219502

Summary

This study is testing whether a non-invasive brain stimulation technique can reduce nerve pain caused by a common chemotherapy drug. Researchers are comparing real magnetic stimulation to a fake (placebo) treatment and standard care in 56 cancer patients. The goal is to see if stimulating specific brain areas can change how patients perceive and experience their pain.
