Brain zap trial aims to slow Alzheimer's decline

NCT ID NCT06669182

Summary

This study is testing whether a non-invasive magnetic brain stimulation treatment can help people with mild Alzheimer's disease. Researchers will target a part of the brain called the cerebellum to see if it improves memory, thinking skills, and the ability to perform daily activities. The trial will involve 100 participants and compare the real magnetic treatment to a sham (fake) procedure to measure its effectiveness and safety over three months.
