Summary

This study is testing a new surgical device that uses magnets to connect two parts of the small intestine. The goal is to see if this procedure is safe and can help adults with obesity, with or without type 2 diabetes, manage their weight and improve their blood sugar levels. The procedure aims to reroute food to affect how the body absorbs nutrients and manages metabolism.
