Summary

This study is testing a new magnetic device designed to make a type of weight-loss surgery safer and simpler. The device creates a connection in the small intestine to help with weight management and improve blood sugar control in adults with obesity, with or without type 2 diabetes. Researchers will check if the device works properly and is safe for the first 25 participants.
