Magnet surgery aims to tackle obesity and diabetes

Summary

This study is testing a new magnetic device system (MagDI) designed to create a new connection in the small intestine. The goal is to see if this rerouting procedure is safe and can help with weight management and improve blood sugar control in adults with obesity, with or without type 2 diabetes. The study will enroll 60 participants in Canada to evaluate the device's performance and initial effectiveness.
