Summary

This study tested a new magnetic device designed to perform a type of weight-loss surgery. The device connects part of the small intestine to the stomach to help manage weight and improve blood sugar levels in adults with obesity and type 2 diabetes. The main goal was to see if the magnetic system could successfully create this new connection.
