First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding magnesium to the usual migraine drug prochlorperazine provides faster pain relief for adults visiting the emergency department with a migraine. About 100 participants will receive either the combination or the drug alone, and their pain levels will be measured over an hour. The goal is to find a simple, safe way to improve migraine treatment in urgent care settings.
