Can a Brain-Boosting pill help athletes sleep and recover better?
NCT ID NCT07015047
Summary
This study is testing whether a special form of magnesium, called magnesium L-threonate, can help improve sleep quality, recovery, and physical performance in college athletes. About 100 UCLA varsity athletes will take either the supplement or a placebo pill each night for four weeks while wearing a fitness tracker. Researchers will measure changes in sleep patterns, heart rate, and performance tests like jump height and grip strength to see if the supplement helps.
