Magnetic tracer could replace radioactive dye in melanoma surgery

Summary
This study tests whether a magnetic tracer (Magtrace) works as well as the standard radioactive dye plus blue dye for finding sentinel lymph nodes in people with melanoma. About 254 adults will get both tracers before surgery, and doctors will compare how often each method finds the right nodes. The goal is to see if the magnetic method can replace the radioactive one, avoiding radiation exposure.
