NCT ID NCT07170748

First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study is checking how well a new device called MagIA H3S works for detecting HIV, hepatitis B, hepatitis C, and syphilis at the same time. About 2,950 people in Ivory Coast and Kenya will provide blood samples to see if the device gives accurate results compared to standard lab tests. The goal is to see if this single, point-of-care test can reliably screen for all four infections, which could make testing faster and easier in areas with limited resources.
