AI-Guided brain zaps aim to ease gulf war Veterans' pain

Summary

This study tests whether a machine learning algorithm can help personalize brain stimulation (rTMS) to better treat headaches and body pain in veterans with Gulf War Illness. About 140 veterans or active military personnel will receive 13 active rTMS sessions over 3-4 months. The goal is to replace the current trial-and-error approach with a smarter, more effective treatment plan.
