NCT ID NCT06981247
First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests a mobile app called m-LIfE designed to help sedentary bank employees in Pakistan become more active and eat better. Over 12 weeks, participants will receive daily reminders, tips, and tracking tools. The goal is to see if the app is practical and can encourage healthier habits to prevent heart disease.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
mobile app (m-LIfE) delivering lifestyle education, reminders, and tracking
What this could lead to
If successful, this could provide a low-cost, scalable way to help office workers reduce heart disease risk through better activity and diet.
What could go wrong
This is a small pilot study (84 people) testing feasibility, not effectiveness. The app may not lead to lasting behavior change, and results may not apply to other populations.
