New arm scanner aims to catch swelling early for breast cancer survivors

NCT ID NCT03861975

Summary

This study is testing a new device called the LymphaTech Scanner to see if it can effectively and quickly detect early signs of arm swelling (lymphedema) in people treated for breast cancer. Researchers will compare it to the current standard device (Perometer) by measuring arm volume in 100 participants. The goal is to find out if the new scanner is a reliable and practical tool for routine screening.
