Summary

This study tests a surgical procedure called deep cervical lymphovenous anastomosis (LVA) for people with moderate Alzheimer's disease. The surgery aims to improve the brain's ability to clear waste proteins, like amyloid-beta, which are linked to Alzheimer's. Researchers will compare 148 people who get the surgery plus standard medication against 148 who get only medication, tracking their cognitive function and brain changes over 12 months.
