New scan technique explores cancer spread in the neck

Summary
This study tested how practical it is to use a special radioactive tracer and SPECT-CT scan to see if oropharynx cancer has spread to the neck. Twelve people with oropharynx cancer took part. The goal was to see if this imaging method could help doctors better plan treatment.
