First human tests: new pill for diabetes safety check
NCT ID NCT07073170
Summary
This early-stage study tested the safety of a new oral medication called LY3549492 for type 2 diabetes in Chinese adults. Thirty-six participants took daily doses of either the drug or a placebo for about 18 weeks. The main goal was to check for side effects and see how the drug moves through the body, not to prove it controls blood sugar long-term.
